The Samsung U600 is a lightweight superslim slider phone with the beguiling looks but powerful punch of a St Trinians prefect. At 103 x 49 x only 10.9 mm thick it weighs 81g with a large screen (34mm wide x 45mm long and 240 x 320 pixels with up to 262144 colours available) including a sunlight mode that optimises the screens contrast in brighter light.
The excellent 3.2 megapixel still and video camera provides high quality results with digital zoom autofocus and LED flash.Touch sensitivity applies to two external buttons - visible when the slide is closed. There is 60 MB storage available - plus a Micro SD card slot expandable up to 2 GB - while battery performance is enhanced by Samsungs Optimized Power Usage Solution technology. The music player supports a wide range of formats - MP3 ACC ACC+ and e-AAC+ and FM radio. Built-in speaker feature a Bang & Olufsen digital power amplifier and the playlist supports up to 30 tracks.
